Attenzione: version 2.4.16 with multy-city

Attention: If you don’t see the version in admin page of addWeather (for exemple, addWeather ( version 2.X )), delete the folder of plugin and reinstall.

addWeather 2 finalmente rilasciato.
La versione è pressoché quella della beta, tranne piccole correzioni.

Con la versione 2.4.8 l’amministrazione ora è tradotta in inglese e in italiano. All’interno del pacchetto troverete il file addweather.pot con cui effettuare nuove traduzioni. Mandatemi le vostre traduzioni a developer@thedeveloperinside.com, e le inseriro nelle prossime versioni.

I made myself conversion mph to kmh and also modified my weather admin for select °F and mph or °C and km/h. And it’s OK

I was using your widget just fine, really liked it. Then I upgraded to word press 2.6 from 2.5. At same time, I upgraded your widget. No I can get no display. After I select the city and click save – nothing happens – it just leaves everything blank. WOULD LOVE TO HAVE MYWEATHER widget back, please advise.

Eduardo, now I get the following error:

“Huston. We have a problem. Try it!”

This occurs after I search for the city, then select it. When I click save city, it doesn’t work – just leaves blank with above error.

I upgraded to World Press 2.6 (mistake) and that is when the problem started.

La gestione della barra laterale è automatica se usi i widget. Ma tu puoi benissimo inserire il codice <?php wp_myweather();?> nella tua testata per averlo li, o piazzarlo in qualunque tua parte del template.

ciao, ho scaricato la tua widget in locale in wordpress 2.7, ho inserito il codice in sidebar.php e anche in functions.php ma non visualizzo niente.
mi aggiunge solo una riga nella colonna di sinistra ma nient’altro.
E’ un problema legato alla release 2.7 di WP?
se mi puoi aiutare, te ne sarei grato.

Da quello che ho potuto provare, funziona perfettamente con la 2.7.
Posso solo darti questi consigli:
1) Hai messo il codice giusto? Cioè <?php wp_myweather();?> . Puoi anche usare i widget se li usi.
2) Hai inserito almeno una città? Non si sa mai…
3) Non è detto che la plugin funzioni, in quanto richiede che il comando CURL oppure file_get_contents del php possa aprire i file in remoto, il che non è detto.

Avevo provato una vecchia versione del tuo widget e selezionando il codice di Bergamo riuscivo a vedere correttamente la previsione, ora non più.

No no, dalla vecchia versione è totalmente cambiata. Vai nell’amministrazione e nel menu delle plug-in troverai la voce myWeather. Inserire una cittá è semplice, basta ricercarla con search city ed aggiungere quella che vuoi dal risultato della ricerca.

using 2.47 on wordpress 2.6.
The wp_myweather_city option is reset every time I load the plugin admin page.

I narrowed down to this piece of code:
if(!@preg_match(“/{/i”,$city) && $city!=”"){
$city=explode(“||”,$city);
$cityname=explode(“||”,$cityname);
$new=array();
$x=0;
foreach($city as $a){
$new[$a]=$cityname[$x];
$x++;
}
$city=serialize($new);
update_option(‘wp_weather_city’,$city);
delete_option(“wp_weather_city_name”);
}

Obviously, the “explode” function is wrong as there are no “||” in the serialized value.

If I comment this code (as well as in my_weather.php and if I have only one city, then it works.

@roger: plugin use a css file in your template folder (wp-content/plugins/myweather/templates/default/style.css) and modify “#wp_myweather .wp_myweather em”.

@ jerry: is very very strange, but I will study the situation looking at how to improve the code

After the 2.4.9 update the image link is wrong for some reason. The link is myweather/templates/default/icon/6.gif.gif . You can see it on http://alpinism.erata.net . I’m not sure if there something wrong with my site or is the plugin, i’ll get back when i’ll find more.

ok I am using yahoo.php now and the time no longer shows in my template.

I see in yahoo.php there is a line
